Aston Shed: lnwra3628

Ex-LNWR six wheel Full Brake coach, M284609, is seen stabled at Aston shed on 4th July 1957. Again in response to the original incorrect caption, Philip Millard of the LNWR Society writes, 'This coach is the same type as seen in image 'lnwra3627' but heavily altered with boarding replacing most of the upper panelling. I would guess that this was done post-war, but perhaps earlier. Regrettably no records survive which enable these service vehicles to be identified with specific former numbers.'
