Looking towards the Gas Works near the junction of Rupert Street and Walter Street with Aston Villa's ground on the right in the distance. The railway bridge is that seen crossing Rocky Lane in image 'lnwra3664'. The buildings in front of gas towers were demolished later. Straight ahead can be seen the BT tower in central Birmingham, and to left of this is the tall office block on inner ring-road near to the Birmingham and Fazeley Canal.
