Birmingham New Street Station: lnwrbns_str1775
An elevated view of the demolition of the main station
building on Midland portion of New Street station with Rotunda rising in the
background. This view shows that between the two sections of arched roofs there
was a gully in between formed by short sections of roof lights running at
90° to the track. On the right is the covered footbridge that can be seen
in image 'lnwrbns_str1854a' whilst above is
the newly built Bull Ring which was another planning disaster of the brave new
world of the 1960s.
