British Railways built Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No 41285 is seen running bunker first as it slows down to deliver the train staff to the signalman. The steam blowing off from the safety valves shows that the fireman has prepared the fire for a brisk run to Kenilworth station which was 1,742 yards to the south of the junction.
